Syne

Syne is an installation that showcases a meeting point between humans and technology, highlighting the interaction between the two.
It’s based on an interactive system, where a surface made up of a point cloud is activated by an external energy, the user's hand moving over the sensor. This action generates a magnetic field that attracts a thin veil, causing an electronic sound that is the direct result of the interference.

The project was developed during a workshop with Laura Arcangeli from Studio Ultraviolet.to  in February 2024.
