Martial
Martial is a visual project where I experiment with the use of tracking methods on a moving body. The video shows the martial arts master Xu Guan Guan as she performs a Taiji form in the Chen style. After recording the video, I manipulated it using TouchDesigner, where I utilized the blob-track TOP to derive data that were then used to instance geometries. Then I added an audio track and made the video responsive to kicks to make it slide to different points of the footage.
